WHAT HAPPENED?
The routing of Heerenveen brought them one step closer to the Eredivisie title. Two goals and an assist from Malik Tillman opened up the game, with five more to maintain their impressive lead over nearest rivals Feyenoord. Had the Rotterdam team failed to beat Go Ahead Eagles later in the evening, PSV would have been confirmed champions on Thursday, but Arne Slot's team won to delay the Eindhoven team's title party.
